A beautifully decorative French Louis XV style side table, with a wonderfully elegant serpentine form and warm, richly figured timber.

The table features a shaped gallery top edged with gilt-metal trim, above a single drawer with an attractive burr-wood front and circular gilt-metal ring handle. Sweeping cabriole legs are enhanced with ornate gilt-metal mounts and terminate in decorative gilt sabots.

The combination of warm wood tones, delicate proportions and gilded detailing gives this piece a particularly refined look. Its slender size makes it ideal as a hallway or entrance table, bedside table, occasional table or statement lamp table, bringing character without taking up too much space.

Presented in good vintage condition with age-related marks and wear consistent with use, all adding to its charm and character. There are small sections of veneer missing on the legs. If you would like more information or pictures please ask.

French Louis XV Style Commode

A wonderfully elegant French Louis XV style commode, full of character and decorative detail. With its beautifully curved bombe form, warm figured timber and ornate gilt-bronze style mounts, this is a piece designed to make an impression.

The commode features two generously sized drawers, each finished with decorative scrolling handles and escutcheons. Delicate floral and foliate inlay adds interest across the drawer fronts, while the shaped apron and slender cabriole legs give the piece its unmistakably French silhouette. Decorative mounts running down the corners and feet provide the perfect finishing touch. Both keys are present and working.

Above sits a beautifully figured marble top, its warm natural tones complementing the richness of the timber below. The combination of marble, intricate veneer and aged metalwork gives the commode a wonderfully sophisticated, timeworn appearance.

Vintage Rustic Display Cupboard

A truly unique, character-filled cupboard with a beautifully aged timber frame, glass-panelled door and wonderful traces of its original turquoise paint. Every mark, worn edge and imperfection adds to its authentic vintage charm.

What makes this piece particularly special is the very old metal advertising sign used as the back of the cupboard, originally made to advertise ant killer. Its faded red, yellow, black and white graphics create an unusual splash of colour and give the cupboard a fascinating piece of history.
